I had been looking forward to coming away for so long 3 hours into our holiday after arriving for our Christmas holiday. I went to the dustbin to put the garlic bread boxes in and it was very dark 7pm. I walked to the white fence and took one step down and that was the end of our holiday (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and birthday all spent in James Cook Hospital) After an 8 hour wait for an ambulance I have a sprained ankle on my left leg and on my other leg dislocated ankle and 3 fractures. Walking will take 6 months at least and driving 1 to 2 years. The point of this review is I feel this is a health and safety issue in my eyes and could have been avoided - the steps should have a handrail so this doesn't happen to anyone else and there was also no outdoor lighting so it was very dark. The house is definitely not friendly for anyone with mobility issues although the owner brought a bed downstairs for me for 48 hours now on my journey back to London after someone flew up to drive us back with some added bits of metal in my leg and ankle.

Stayed in this house for two weeks and loved it. Had everything you could need. Two minutes from beach which was great with our dogs. Shops five minutes walk away. Comfortable beds. Only downside was front bedroom could do with curtains as blinds didn?t keep the light out. Lovely welcome pack. Would definitely recommend this place

Stayed for a week and the house was filthy it had other people's hair in the bath and on the bath mat. The kitchen was full of grease and every surface was sticky even the cooker smoked when we first used it. There were cobwebs and dirty skirting boards it makes you wonder if the beds and towels were clean. No apology from the owners.

The house was spotlessly clean and a lot of time, energy and money has been spent on completely renewing the kitchen, bathroom and every other room. The workmanship is absolutely first class. It comes equipped with everything you could ever need and more. The beds, sofas and chairs are all wonderfully comfortable. The towels and bedclothes were beautifully fresh and clean. Being only 150m from the beach and in a cul-de-sac means the only sound you will hear are the waves (when the wind is in the right direction). Two small supermarkets are only eight minutes

Stayed here for 4 days , enjoyed every minute , house is spottless , had everything we needed , cooked meals for 5 people, fully equiped kitchen , 100 yards from beach , had 2 dogs they loved it too , beds comfy , nice furnishings , yard area was ideal to, off road parking , netflicks on the tv . Fridge freezer ,dishwasher , loverly bathroom and everything worked as it should ,even a log burner ..didnt need it but wood provided ,even left some biscuits for the dogs ..perfect
