| Cottage Review:
This property, on Atlantic Reach resort, is privately owned and managed by Sykes Cottages. The property de4scription fails to tell potential guests that use of the leisure centre (including the indoor pool) is not included in the rental as the owners do not pay the supplementary charge. I found this out to my cost recently but having said that, and after communication with Sykes Cottages, agreement was reached. However, Sykes are very reluctant to mention that the leisure centre is not included. As this is a resort, the majority of potential bookers would, I'm sure, be expecting to use all the facilities. It is not possible to pay extra to use the pool either. I think Sykes are misleading customers but despite similar reviews in the past regarding the lack of leisure facilities, they are reluctant to include this information in their description. I think it is very pertinent information and all potential bookers should be aware. This property can also be booked through Booking,com and similarly, there is no mention that the pool is not available in their descripti9on. However, at least Sykes Cottages responded to my complaint; I am not sure why Booking.com even has a customer service department! However, my aim in writing this review is to make peop0le aware that this particular property does not allow access to the leisure club. I think it is important to make people aware of this. Having said all that, Atlantic Reach itself is a good spot and the Garden Cottages are perfectly adequate. |
