Description of the holiday cottage
Afton Thatch Lodge is small, detached, thatched cottage set in the grounds of the larger Afton Thatch. It is accessed through a shared drive, yet seperated by hedging. It has its own garden, reached through three french windows facing east towards the downs and the sunrise. The Lodge offers accommodation for a couple and children or guests. The master bedroom on the first floor has views over the downs and estuary plus an ensuite bathroom with deep double ended roll top bath. On the ground floor is the open plan kitchen and living room with two "over and under" occasional day beds which can sleep four more.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottage has outstanding views over open countryside and a cosy feel, truly a home from home.

| Cottage Review:
This was my 6/7 stay here. It feels like my home and like a warm hug. So well equipped,comfortable and peaceful. The cottage is located perfectly to enjoy the quieter side of the island. Every time I leave i want to book again immediately. Also great communication from great hosts. |
