Very clean and spacious bungalow. Lovely views. Comfortable beds. Quiet and remote location. No starter pack of fuel as promised by Sykes. Three leaking/ dripping taps that were almost impossible to turn off. |

I love the Waternish area of Skye as it's much less busy than other areas but is just as beautiful with loads to do. The cottage is easy to find, well equipped and has fabulous views across to the Outer Hebrides. The TV signal was patchy, as was mobile reception (on EE) but there's wifi and I enjoyed the peace! Despite poor weather, I saw the northern lights on my first night (even in April), enjoyed the (rather boggy) walk to Waternish lighthouse and did trips with Wild Skye Boat Trips from Carbost and Isle of Skye Wildlife Tours from Portree, both highl |

Ardmore is a wonderful cottage in a picturesque setting with silence and peace all around. Great ocean views, very comfortable - I would stay there again. |
