Description of the self catering property
Batavia is set in the heart of Dartmoor that sleeps 4 with 2 double bedrooms and is a great example of a modern and stylish barn conversion. With gorgeous views over farmland and the Dartmoor hills, Batavia is a great holiday home on Dartmoor for four people where comfort and peace are required. Batavia is a dog friendly holiday home near Lydford benefiting from a range of walks nearby and open countryside. You can even bring your own horse with stabling available for 2 horses should you need it. The interior is decorated to be like a home from home, very comfortable with a range of soft furnishings and double french doors that open out onto the garden. This is a property ideally located for families that love exploring Dartmoor and is dog friendly and child friendly with off road parking and broadband on site. Batavia is one of two barn conversions so you could book both if two families wanted to come at the same time.Sleeps: 4

| Cottage Review:
A lovely, warm homely cottage with everything you would need for a great holiday. We would have liked to stay longer. The views from lounge window, sun raises and sets were really good. Plenty of lovely walks and near to Tavistock, which is an interesting town. Worth a visit is Burrator reservoir, Lydford Gorge which is nearly on the doorstep. The hosts are friendly and helpful. |
