| Cottage Review:
Stayed her for a week with my wife and duaghter in July. Fabulous cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need. The hosts Stephen and Heather were very welcoming and we were greeted on our arrival with a selection of really lovely treats, including some delicious cream scones. A home from home really! The cottage is in a perfect location in the lovely village of Caldbeck. Check out the ice creams in the village shop or the milk shakes from the dairy. Loads of great walking nearby and quiet roads if you're wanting to travel out a bit further. Only about 20 minutes to Bassenthwaite, maybe 30 into Keswick. with stunning scenery the whole way. The wildlife park at Bassenthwaite was well worth the tenner too. Fabulous, thank you! |

| Cottage Review:
We have just returned from a lovely short break at Beckside Cottage. The location is excellent especially if you enjoy walking (there are lots of walks from the front door if you don?t want to drive). The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable - so much so I slept better than I have in a long time. Stephen and Heather are fabulous hosts and really attentive in a very caring manner to ensure the cottage meets/exceeds your expectations. Thank you! |
