Description of the holiday cottage

Bourne View is part of a six cottage-terrace dating back to the late Victorian era, tucked away in the heart of the village of Porlock that. It has recently been refurbished throughout, and is an excellent base from which to explore both the thriving village and the terrific coastline and surrounding countryside of Exmoor National Park.

• 2 first floor bedrooms (one large king-sized double and one smaller double with hand basin)

• Modern ground floor kitchen well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, plus toaster, kettle, variety of cookware and kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses

• Ground floor living room with wood burner, sofa, chair, TV (Freeview/Netflix), DVD player, and small selection of videos

• Ground floor dining room with table and chairs, sofa, and selection of board games

• Spacious first floor family bathroom with shower over, toilet, and hand basin

• Bed linen, duvets, and towels provided. (Please bring own beach towels for day trips)

• Wifi, thermostatically controlled electric heating, and electricity included in cost, plus basket of logs, kindling and matches provided

• Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am

• 6 miles from nearest town of Minehead, with its beaches, larger supermarkets, petrol stations, most major high street banks with cash machines, plus a range of other shops
• Child-friendly accommodation, with travel cot available upon request. (Please note cot bedding not supplied)
• Tea, coffee, and sugar provided, with other non-perishable items like salt, pepper, and oil, and household sundries such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, and tea towels available

• Please note, no allocated parking, but free street parking available locally. Cottage situated 100 metres from High Street, accessible only via footpath
