| Cottage Review:
Had an enjoyable family half term holiday at Dreckly. Great communication with the owner, easy to find and straight forward check in information. Free parking at the main Willows car park, which is just a few minutes walk away, but drop-off parking is permitted outside the cottage. Positives - huge living space, with large lounge and diner, fully equipped kitchen with welcome essentials (tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid). Spotlessly clean throughout with comfy beds and crisp linen bedding, outside loo off the rear courtyard, first floor shower room, second floor en suite. Traditional features and quaint cottage feel. Last minute additional nights accommodated without issue. Could do better - the cottage has old sash windows with a draft downstairs and the individual heaters had the temperature controlled remotely, so the cottage felt cold at times. However, there are blankets provided which did the job nicely! The back door is stiff, but you only need access to the yard to put the rubbish out or use the outside loo! Overall, a wonderful house to stay in! Would love to return, however the cottage is on the market to be sold. |
