Cottage Review:
Lovely little cottage very clean and overlooks the church. We had deer in the grounds beside us and a christmas tree was up for us. Beds were comfy and clean heating was good although very noisy in the bedroom so had to he turned off at night. The water is hot for bath or showers. The internet was fine for us as the adjoining property was empty but phone signal is patchy but who cares in this location. Its about a 30min walk to the beach from the house via gypsy lane which is a track and takes you along the embankment so you can see the wildlife as you walk. There are a few things id like to see like curtains the front door whilst frosted can be seen through and the little window in the living room also no curtains in kitchen or bathroom which makes you rather self concious incase anyone leaving the church sees your naked silhouette. Curtains or blinds would definately be a bonus. Also the shower head stem needs replacing and drops down and the rubber on the shower door is also comming off and needs constantly putting back on but there just little things. The staircase whist not too many stairs is pretty steep if you have bad knees its not the house for you as the toilet is downstairs. But I think its lovely here and would totally recommend it but as I write this there are no neighbours and other reviews in the book have said when they are there and using wifi there is none here as this house is boosted from that one. It just depends if you need it. The tv is lovely might I add massive and clear. Dont overlook this cottage it has alot going for it. |
