We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Lodge, the setting is beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. The lodge is equally as beautiful and very well equipped. Barbara very quickly assisted us with everything and we genuinely couldn't ask or want for more. We really loved it here and would definitely return and highly recommend. |

Cottage Review:
As a young family with 3 boys, one under 2, we were very happy with our week away at Hampton Lodge. We found the facilities and layout to be well thought through with useful provisions such as stair gates on the stairway, badminton and table tennis facilities etc. The lodge has a very pleasant outward aspect, especially when sitting in the generously sized hot tub under the covered area (ideal if the weather turns), this was therefore very much a luxurious experience that catered for our children during the day and allowed us to relax in the evening (no easy feat). Barbara, the host was fantastic, she ensured we had everything we needed when we arrived and was very pleasant to speak to. All in all, a fantastic lodge located in a beautiful place where we made some happy family memories, very much recommended. |

Cottage Review:
After looking at a few other places, I fell upon this nugget of gold and asked my husband Scott to book straight away. It was the BEST place we have stayed and we have stayed in lots!! The very spacious ground floor living area and open plan design is amazing and there is everything you need (bring kitchen roll though!) The massive veranda has a high roof and covers a fabulous seating area and of course the amazing large hot tub which was spotless and enjoyed by the 3 of us. The upstairs master bedroom is amazing too and on the one night it did rain, was really cosy and dreamy. The cooker is also fab with six pot places and large heating grills if there were 8 staying. There is so many activities not that far away. Me and my boy did the zip world ziplining which is an experience we will never forget. You have to do this. its about 1.5 hours drive but and experience you cannot miss out on. We also done river bugging that was also amazing (if booking ask for Arron Kendal to be your instructor - he was amazing) The shops are fabulous and there are lovely gardens to visit too. The shops where the river bugging is are amazing and I would defo recommend the lovely bakery there after you come out of the water! Barbara is lovely and if you needed anything that isnt there - she would go and get it for you! Her homemade Victoria Sponge was a delight on arrival and the awesome Jacobs sheep are a dream to watch as you sit outside. All in all the best holiday ever and you will regret nothing booking this place. Cant wait to go back. |

Cottage Review:
The lodge is situated in its own grounds with lots of space around, it has everything you need from a hot tub to a washing machine, spacious 4 bedroom luxury lodge that is very quiet and relaxing, the owners are lovely, they leave you to enjoy your break but are only a 2 minute away if you need them (they will attend to the hot tub with occasional checks). Chester is only half an hour away and Ellesmere only a few minutes drive with a Tesco supermarket if needed. If you like quiet, isolated and relaxing then this is the place for you, I will be rebooking. |

Cottage Review:
We were 3 generations of one family, 8 people. February half term isn't always the best time to go away, but Hampton Lodge proved to be just right for us. It was spotlessly clean, and well equipped. We particularly liked the large living/kitchen area, which meant that nobody felt left out, even if they were preparing food. And the hot tub, of course, in its sheltered place on the verandah. Barbara was very friendly and helpful about places to visit - and there was a surprising amount to do, even in February! If the house and the area are this good at the tail end of winter, they must be fabulous in summer. |

Cottage Review:
We had a fabulous time at Hampton lodge. It was a family get together as we are all spread about the country. The setting is really rural which is so peaceful, and there was lovely walks straight from the lodge, even along the county roads as they hardly have any cars going by. There was plenty of local amenities nearby in Ellesmere just a few miles away, and a great pub called sun inn at Welshampton which you can walk to (2 miles). The lodge itself is very well presented. We loved that it was mostly all on one level so we felt very together. The hot tub was fantastic! You didn?t have to go beyond the veranda to get in it so it was an any weather activity as it?s fully covered but has great views of the sunset. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Another great point for us is that it is disability friendly, my mum has mobility issues but due to it all being on the ground floor this was no problem and she still felt very much part of the group and could take her scooter on walks along the country lanes with us all. We will definitely return. Thankyou! |

Cottage Review:
Lovely, large wooden Chalet in a lovely quiet location, Had everything we needed and more besides. The hot tub was well-used by all of our group and the walk to the local pub of 2 miles was just the right length for us to be really ready for the delicious Sunday roast. Barbara was a lovely, attentive hostess and made us a fabulous sponge cake to welcome us. We hope to find some time together to return. Thank you |

Cottage Review:
We are a group of friends who get together. usually at each others houses two or three times a year. This time we thought we'd do something a little different and booked a long weekend at the Hampton Lodge. To say this exceeded all our expectations is an understatement. From the moment you drive up the new drive you can see the time and effort that has been spent in creating such a gorgeous building and setting. We were met by Barbara who was lovely and definitely a people person. She showed us around the Lodge which has all the home comforts you could ask |
