Haye Barton Farm holiday cottage in St Ive in Cornwall sleeps up to 14 people in 6 bedrooms and is a large dog friendly holiday house in St Ive in south Cornwall. Haye Barton Farm is one and three quarter miles from the pub in St Ive, deep in spring-flowering hedgerow lanes and approached over 500 yards of hardcore lane. Haye Barton Farm in St Ive is a huge, detached and completely private, south-facing farmhouse on three levels, looking over 115 acres of farmland and bluebell woods which are all yours to roam and explore with care; there is a river that is great for older children although small children should be supervised. Immediately in front of Haye Barton Farm, a small, enclosed walled garden.

Once all was thriving with a variety of farming activities, now the surrounding barns are mostly vacant. An open-ended barn contains table tennis and badminton and the rest provide sanctuary for swallows. Inside Haye Barton Farm, completely renovated with smart bathrooms, flagstone and wood floors with rugs throughout, beams and huge inglenooks. Living room with inglenook woodburner and a TV/DVD; big kitchen and dining room with dishwasher, microwave, 6-ring gas hob/electric double oven, with TV and inglenook woodburner and glass-topped original well.

Utility room/pantry (once the old dairy) with washing machine, tumble drier, fridge-freezer. Stairs up to five bedrooms including three double bedrooms and one with a huge four poster bed and two twin bedrooms; bathroom with suite and shower-room with wash hand basin and wc. A few more stairs up to second living room-cum-den with sofa bed, and sixth bedroom with a large double bed with en suite shower-room (suite), sloping beams and TV. Haye Barton Farm in St Ive in Cornwall is a terrific family house offering freedom for children.

Cottage Review:   Absolutely fabulous holiday home... This property really is quality, and it is clear to see that a lot of thought has been put into the comfort of this place. David had lit the woodburner in the kitchen for us so it was super cozy when we arrived. The kitchen is very well stocked, with plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, crockery and cutlery. There are plenty of knives and two knife sharpeners. There is a smaller intergrated fridge in the kitchen and a large fridge and separate freezer in the utility room along with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a downstairs toilet, and two bathrooms in the next floor, one with a bath and one with a shower. The top bedroom also has an en suite. This property really is a Gem, everything is high quality. David, the owner lives on the estate and is near if you need him, nothing is too much trouble! Thank you David, we will certainly return for another amazing holiday!

Cottage Review:   Stayed as a family of 14 had a fantastic stay, had everything we could want. The pictures don't do the house justice. Really peaceful and quiet but not far from shops in Liskeard. Clean and well furnished, a brilliant place for a holiday.

Cottage Review:   Haye Barton Farm absolutely met our expectations. The house itself is very comfortable and had loads of room for our party of grown ups and grandchildren (10 of us!) and was a safe haven with lovely empty fields to wander into and play. The outdoor ameneties (table tennis/badminton and basketball) were fine and indoors, the kitchen catered for the best of cooks. WiFi was a bit weedy but who cares when you're on hols! The beds were comfy and the decor was fresh. So would we go back....... a resounding Yes!
