Description of the holiday cottage
Hendra Cottage at Tregarthen's Hotel has bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests. It is situated yards from the water's edge offering an ideal location for a holiday on The Isles of Scilly. Hendra Cottage is kept dog free.Best Features
The downstairs of Hendra has an entrance hall with cloakroom and plenty of room for shoes and coats.
The well equipped kitchen / diner has fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washer / dryer, hob, oven and microwave. There is a table and chairs seating 4. Highchairs can be supplied on request. The stairs lead to first floor.
The lounge has lovely views across the harbour - relax on the comfy sofa and armchairs. Equipment includes 32 inch flat screen FreeView TV, Blu-ray / DVD player and HiFi. A selection of DVD’s is available to borrow at the hotel. Local guides and maps are available in the cottage.
Upstairs in Hendra are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 1 can be a twin or double room and has a stunning sea view. Bedroom 2 is a twin room.
The Family Bathroom has bath and shower over.

| Cottage Review:
Hendra is ideally situated close to the harbour giving a short walk to the ferries and excursion boats. Also handy for the Hugh Town shops and Town Beach. Dogs are allowed which is one of the big reasons why we chose it. We liked: the location the decor the layout downstairs which felt adequately spacious for four adults and a dog the kitchen layout and equipment the comfortable lounge furniture and beds the well-appointed bathroom and hotel-style miniature bottles of toiletries the luxuriously large bath sheets the cream tea on arrival the flowers the friendly, helpful receptionists and Nick, the manager. We didn't like The large coffee table which was too big for the room. the way the TV kept going blank the steep (and I mean REALLY steep) stairs up to the bedrooms and bathroom. |
