| Cottage Review:
Well, what can I say. The lodge was lovely. Modern furnishings, well equipped, spacious and very clean. We loved the outside sofa and dining sets and were lucky to have such fab weather to make good use of them. There was also ample room to park two cars. As with previous reviews, because of the steps up to the accomodation might be a little difficult for people with mobility problems. The one niggle I had was that the bath towels were very small and might be worrth while cobsidering bigger when replacing. The site itself is really nice. Well maintained with a large restaurant/bar area and entertainment of an evening. We didn't use the pool or gym but both looked good. It's an easy walk to Brockhole, with all it's outdoor activities and it's lovely restaurant. Also, it's an easy drive to both Ambleside and Windermere. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return. |
