| Cottage Review:
Hillfoot is an absolutely lovely home away from home. Set in beautiful scenery with an incredible view of the hills from the living room. The location is both peaceful with a feel of being "miles from anywhere" but in actual fact is very central for a wide range of family outings within just a few miles which we would highly recommend - highland widlife park, highland folk museum, Landmark adventure park, Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, and both Loch Insh and Loch Morlich beaches and watersports. You will even be in Invernesss in less then an hour. The cottag |

Just back from a week at Hillfoot. Lovely quiet location in village of Insh but within easy reach of Kingussie. There are walks through the woods on the edge of the village which we thoroughly enjoyed. Really easy to get to all the places we visited...Wildlife Park, Rothiemurchus, Aviemore and beyond. House has a fabulous view from the lounge and lots of wildlife on the doorstep. We missed the deer walking up the path but we did see red squirrel, hare, vole and countless birds all from the house.
