great holiday....very comfortable and clean/ had everything we needed and in very convenient location for the beautiful harbour and seafront area and loads of lovely walks, yet still also convenient for local shops and resteraunts

On arrival we found the white bed linen had several reddish-brown smudges on them, which we thought was a bit poor really, because if you are going to use white linen, then at least make sure it isn't stained in multiple places.

On our second night, having got up in the early hours to use the bathroom, we discovered bedbugs of varying sizes crawling all over us and the bedding. Videos and photos taken as evidence and given the size of some of the bedbugs, they had clearly been around for a while. The maintenance management person was contacted and we were told they would sort somewhere for us to move to. This didn't happen and we never had any further contact from them. As we had pre-booked tickets for various days out, to the sum of around £250, and brought a whole weeks worth of food, which would have gone off on a 3 + hour journey home, we then had to shell out a substantial amount of money to rent another property or lose our holiday that we had driven over 3 hours to get to. This whole experience wasted us a whole day of our holiday and was a stressful upheaval, especially with a 16 month old child. The lack of communication, or support to be re-located added insult to injury. Utterly disgraceful treatment and I notice the company, who we let this property through, appear to have taken it off their books. I wonder why!

We had a lovely stay at Holisan. The property was clean and very comfortable. Comfortable beds. Nicely furnished and liked that the kitchen lended itself to being conversational and sociable. Well equipped properly with everything you need. Great base for exploring the immediate area and beyond. Fantastic value for money you can't even get a caravan for the price we paid.
