We recently returned from an idyllic family weekend at How End. The house is superb; spacious, comfortable, and furnished to a very high standard. Equipped with everything you would need for the perfect family break. It is set in stunning countryside, with amazing views of Braithwaite lake and surrounding hills. We were there in April and were delighted by the new born lambs, playing in the fields in the front of the house. Braithwaite is a picturesque village, with great places to eat and drink. It is very close to Keswick, and ideally located to explore th |

We recently returned from an idyllic family weekend at How End. The house is superb; spacious, comfortable, and furnished to a very high standard. Equipped with everything you would need for the perfect family break. It is set in stunning countryside, with amazing views of Braithwaite lake and surrounding hills. We were there in April and were delighted by the new born lambs, playing in the fields in the front of the house. Braithwaite is a picturesque village, with great places to eat and drink. It is very close to Keswick, and ideally located to explore the rest of the lake district. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning!! |

| Cottage Review:
really enjoyed our stay at How End over New Year. The house is well maintained, has plenty of space and is really warm and comfortable. The views are absolutely superb, and the walking is great and there are also some wonderful pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. |

| Cottage Review:
How End it a beautiful cottage within walking distance of Braithwaite. We stayed there as a christams treat for all the family to get together ... when we arrived the whole cottage was decorated beautifully from top to toe in very tastefull christmas decorations which made it feel extra special. The cottage slept 8 of us very comfortably, we often had early dinners and then got all cosy round the log burner - plenty of seating for all. However one night we decided to get a taxi into keswick from the cottage which cost ?6 which i thought was very good. Hope t |
