Lower Pleck Cottage in Blandford sleeps 4 people and is a welcoming holiday cottage that has been renovated both inside and out to a high standard, great if you are looking for a rural holiday cottage near Blandford in a pretty location with plenty to do nearby. Its rural location is super for enjoying fresh air and country walks where you may spot one of the many inhabitants of the area such as kingfishers or voles. On your return, relax in front of the wood burning stove in the lounge with a hot chocolate. In warmer months enjoy eating al fresco in the enclosed back garden. In the village, around a mile away, is the Crown pub, a pet friendly establishment which has a reputation for serving good home made meals with lots of locally sourced produce, a variety of local ales and has the bonus of a beer garden. You will also find a village shop/post office that will be able to provide you with general provisions. The market town of Blandford Forum is a short drive away and as well as being good for shopping it is notable for its attractive Georgian architecture which was erected when it was mostly rebuilt after a fire in 1731.Sleeps: 4
