Description of the holiday cottage
Mythra Cottage is beautifully presented cottage in the picturesque village of Stokenham, ideally located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The cottage breaths warmth and character, and is the perfect choice for both summer and winter escapes.
The fantastic sunroom looks over the garden, while the south facing garden over looks stunning countryside and the 15th century Norman church can be seen in the background. Enjoy the views from the lawn, relax on the decking with a glass of wine, or while away an afternoon with a book in the peaceful summer house. Period features blend with modern day conveniences to create a truly charming and cosy holiday retreat.
Within a short walk of the cottage you'll find The Tradesman’s Arms and The Church House Inn, both of which are child friendly and serve delicious food. There is a bus stop on the main Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, and Plymouth route.
Stokenham is around one mile from the sea. Head to Slapton Ley at Torcross to access miles of walks over the spectacular coastline. If you don't fancy driving, a lovely 45 minute walk from the cottage will take you to the beautiful beach at Beesands where you can enjoy a highly recommended seafood pancake at The Cricket in Beesands.
