Description of the holiday cottage
Oare Water Cottage is a detached bungalow in a secluded Malmsmead location, set in the outstandingly beautiful part of Exmoor National Park known as Lorna Doone Country, made famous by the RD Blackmore novel. With delightful views and fantastic Exmoor walks directly outside the doorstep, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more idyllic location in England!
2 bedrooms (one double and one twin)
Living-dining area with comfortable seating, wood-burner, television/DVD player, oak table and chairs, and French door leading to patio/garden
Two bathrooms, one with jacuzzi bath and the other with shower
Kitchen well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, and washing machine, plus toaster, kettle, variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses
Bed linen, duvets, and towels provided. (Please note outdoor/beach towels not provided; please bring own)
Wifi, electricity, and oil-fired central heating included in price, plus basket of logs
Up to two dogs welcome by prior arrangement (supplement of £15 per dog)
Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am
