Orchard Cottage near Hartland in North Devon is a gorgeous cottage in a fantastic location. A Grade 11 listed building, Orchard Cottage is a fine example of a thatched Devon longhouse, set in the wonderful village of Stoke just down the road from Hartland and is perfect for families looking for a traditional holiday cottage in North Devon that benefits from an indoor swimming pool. There is also a games room with a pool table and table tennis table to keep the kids entertained. Downstairs, there is a wonderful living room and dining room with a large rectangular wood table that seats 10 people so that you can all sit down and enjoy a meal together. Behind the dining table are leather sofas that face the flat screen tv and the huge inglenook woodburner, you will definitely keep warm in winter months in this cosy cottage! The kitchen is fully fitted with all of the appliances that you will need including integrated electric oven and hob, washing machine and dishwasher. There are 5 bedrooms in total including two on the ground floor that are a double and a twin bedroom, there is also a second living room with an electric fire on the ground floor and a toilet plus two separate shower rooms. The other three bedrooms are on the first floor and include a family room that has a single and a double bed, an additional single bedroom and a double bedroom. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor with a hand shower. Orchard Cottage near Hartland is a very pretty cottage in a wonderful location, the village of Stoke is welcoming with plenty of places to visit, not least Hartland Abbey and the Quay as well Speakes Mill beach which is just a short walk away.
