| Cottage Review:
Lovely cosy cottage! Located on the quieter side of Windermere, it is perfect for a nice, relaxing break away from busier Bowness! The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped, with the welcome biscuits and bottle of fizz particularly nice touches! The hot tub is also excellent and, with no light pollution at all, the stars are amazing to view on a clear night:) There is plenty of good walking on the doorstep of the cottage, without the need to get in the car, and trips to Bowness or Ambleside are easily achieved using the Windermere ferry service, which is only a 10 minute walk from the cottage and which I highly recommend. The Lakeside Hotel & Spa is also only 10 minutes walk away with views across the lake and a small but very good spa! Definitely planning on visiting again. 10 out of 10!! |
