Holiday Cottage Reviews for Ruffles Cottage

Ruffles Cottage, St George's Street, Dunster, Somerset, TA24 6RZ
Description of the holiday cottage
Ruffles Cottage is a cosy and comfortable property set in the heart of beautiful Dunster, generally regarded as the West Country's prettiest large villages and estimated to be the largest and most intact medieval village in the whole of England. Built in 1844, Ruffles has been fitted with all-modern appliances, yet retains its traditional feel with character features such as the wood-burning stove. The cottage backs onto St. George’s Church and offers views of Conygar Tower in the distance as well as a glimpse of Dunster Castle. There are great walking opportunities directly from the door, up onto the moor via Grabbist Hill (just a few steps away), Dunster deer park and woods, and of course the famously beautiful castle grounds.
