| Cottage Review:
So disappointed with this cottage - wasnt adequately cleaned when we arrived, Carpets especially in the living area need replacing. Bathroom needs replacing as shower curtain filthy, toilet doesnt flush properly and we didnt have a bath mat but found one stuffed behind the toilet and absolutely filthy. Bedrooms were ok but living room so small and no way big enough for 3 people. Cost well over 300 gbp for 3 nights and we have had luxury apartments in Keswick for that price. Had a feeling of being unloved and uncared for so guessing not privately owned. Also no welcome pack lie milk/biscuits or even a bottle of water which was expected when we paid so much. No seating area to sit out in the summer - just a back step! Smoke alarm in bedroom faulty as went off 3 times for no reason. Only thing good was the location which was 5 minute walk from the centre. |
