| Cottage Review:
Stayed here as an emergency alternative to camping. The staff at the campsite were really friendly and helpful. It is good, very spacious and clean. Close to all the places you want to visit and plenty of walks from your doorstep. Shop and plenty of pubs to choose from in the town for dinner. Some bits are a bit basic, no coasters, placemats and i was always brought up not to put hot things on wooden surfaces. We used most of the equipment we had brought for camping such as tin foil, cling film,washing up liquid, scourer, hand soap in the toilets The |

This is an honest account of my experience of this business but does contain opinions of the management and cottage. My husband and I were staying locally, wanting to support Pooley Bridge in their time of need. I am a local but live away and instead of having a break elsewhere decided to stay in pooley for the weekend. My son and his lovely girlfriend wanted to join us so I called park foot camp site. I have known this place for years, long before it's current size. They offered me a cottage for my son at ?50 a night. (I will say the phone kept cutting out |
