Stables Cottage, Loaninghead, Loaninghead, Balfron Station,, Drymen, Glasgow, Stirling, G63 OSH

We have had the pleasure of staying in the Apple House and The Stables at Loaninghead Farm. They both offer top of line accommodation! Spacious, clean, and luxurious, is how I would describe both properties. I always look forward to our visits, and NEVER want to leave!

A well furnished luxury cottage. Everything you needed was there, well equipped kitchen and lovely garden. We found the cottage very quiet in a good location. A short drive away was the village with several good restaurants and a handy local store.

We stayed at Loaninghead Farm, Stables Cottage for the Glasgow Sept. weekend. We had a warm welcome from Mabeth who showed us her gorgeous cottage.

The cottage is traditionally decorated with a huge rangemaster stove in the kitchen. It is a very roomy cottage and the views are to die for! Located just outside Drymen and about 30mins drive from Glasgow, you are easily within reach of local pubs, village shops, Loch Lomond and woodland walks, but can head into Glasgow quickly.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and will definitely return. The beds were the comfiest beds to stay in, the house was very cosy and the log fire was great after a day out walking around!

One thing to keep in mind - there's not much of a phone signal up here so you have to keep holding your phone up like the Lion King to find a signal. But if you're on a country escape who needs a mobile!

We would have preferred to see the utility bill included in the overall price than a separate bill at the end, but it was not enough to put us off.

Lovely luxury cottage in tranquil area of National Park close to all visitor ammenities and some great places to eat. A real home from home.

Returned from a 2nd visit from the Stables Cottage. As a family we really love everything about the cottage and the area, there is so much to do. The cottage is superb with beautiful furnishings and everything you need. It is spacious and very private. Mabeth & Malcolm are full of information on things to do in the area if you get stuck.

We had a very enjoyable weeks stay at Stables Cottage which had everything we needed and more. The enclosed garden would have been great for our daughter to playin had the weather permitted. Mabeth was very welcoming and seemed to have thought of everything making the cottage a real home from home.

We had a lovely four day break at The Stables. Accommodation was excellent, very well equipped, even down to the brolly, and I can assure you we needed it! Extremely comfortable, relaxing, clean, well equipped. Mabeth was very helpful, she has put a lot of thought into providing homely touches. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you

Excellent facilities in a convenient yet quiet location. Very comfortable beds!

We had a wonderful time staying at Mabeth's lovely cottage. The place is spotless, lovely and warm and very well-equipped. We slept like logs in the extremely comfortable super-king sized beds. Also, the cottage is very well situated for visiting a wide range of interesting places. Highly recommend to all.
