Description of the self catering
Style Cottage is a holiday cottage near Aveton Gifford that is situated by a lane on a valley-side a mile from Aveton Gifford, a single-storey detached cottage on a 20 acre farm (sheep) near the welcoming owners' house and another cottage. Own good-sized, enclosed suntrap courtyard with pond (fish, little waterfalls), barbecue, picnic bench, backed by a wild flower bank. You are welcome on the farm (stationary vintage tractor to play on and fun fishing in a well stocked pond). Salmon/trout fishing on the river Dart, by arrangement. Style Cottage has a glazed door to light open-plan living room with a living flame electric fire, TV/DVD/video and a dining area and fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave). Passage, off which two bedrooms including a pretty twin (linkable to 6' double, TV/DVD, washbasin) with en suite bathroom (suite), and a double (washbasin, TV), both with glazed door to the courtyard. Shower-room (wet-room suite). Spring water. Phone available at the owners house. Suitable for wheelchair users. A light, bright cottage, well-equipped and much praised.Sleeps: 4
