Description of the holiday cottage

Swallows Flight is a three-bedroom holiday cottage in Lucker near to Seahouses in Northumberland that sleeps five people and is pet friendly. With a garden that opens out onto farmland, this is a rural holiday cottage that offers great value for money holidays for a family of five people. Cottage Review:   1st class property. Owners were very communicative and the place was immaculate with all amenities you could need. Can’t think where the previous ‘bad’ review was from? Fictitious? Highly recommend.

Cottage Review:   This property was dirty. Pans were thick with rust. Cups are stained with tea. Oven trays were all red with rust, Sofa is badly stained. Bed was damp. Carpets were ragged. Skirtings thick with dust. We booked it through Sykes Cottages for £1200 a week we arrived late and had to stay the night but left immediately the next day. Sykes was informed and made us go back to take photos which we did. The outcome of this experience is that Sykes Terms and Condition exonerate them from any responsibility and if you complain then you are left to deal with an anonymous landlord. We lost all our money. Don’t visit this property or use Sykes Cottages because you may regret it as we do.
