31 guests rangeing from 2 to 62 have had the best time ever @ the Blue Bell, the pictures on the website were accurate and the customer service was 5+ rating every query we had was resolved within the hour. we have already booked again for next February. thanks you so much for such an enjoyable weekend.

We had 2 big family birthdays in March & struggled to find accommodation where all 28 family members could eat & socialise together. The Bluebell was great! We were initially wary due to some bad reviews but were reassured after we were welcomed to visit for a look around, this was reassuring. Our family age range was 2-68years and the sleeping arrangements suited everyone, the housekeeper ensured that we had the right configuration of double, triple & twin rooms (We didn?t need the bunk room). All the rooms are en-suite which was a bonus. We self catered the whole weekend and because there were 4 fridges we brought everything we needed so we didn?t have to make trips to the supermarket. It was lovely to be able to all fit around the table for meals.

THE GAMES ROOM IS FABULOUS!!!!!! the ladies in the group held a disco in the bar whilst children, teenagers & men were seen but not heard in the games room LOL.

The jacuzzi was worth the extra cost.

The garden was great for the younger members of the group.

We are Park Runners & enjoyed the nearby Sewerby Park Run

Booking was easy, all queries were answered quickly & fully.

Just back from a weekend at The Bluebell celebrating a 60th birthday with family and friends. Fab weekend lots of space, brilliant games room, we really enjoyed the bar area and the hot tub, we all had the most amazing time. Everything went smoothly from booking to arriving to leaving thank you.

We loved the hot tub and the space for a football match. The games room was big enough for Scottish reels and various competitions

Holidayed in Feb half term with extended family. Very reasonable cost for such a large property. Rooms comfortable and the amount of fridge and freezer space was very useful. We self-catered all week. The kitchen had plenty of equipment although you had to hunt for everything as the cupboards were disorganized. The pub was a great space for spending the evenings and the kids loved the games room. Some of the inventory could do with a good clear out and overhaul. But no complaints. Had a great time in a fantastic place and the lady looking after the property

This is a fantastic place for family/friends gatherings. Extremely comfortable, great that all rooms are en-suite. We booked the weekend for my sons 21st birthday, there was a mixture of ages from 13-96 and this place is suitable for all ages. The facilities are great everything you need for cooking and plenty of crockery etc. All the different rooms make it so that you can all be together if you want but apart if you don?t. We had a great time & can?t wait to book again. Thank you.

I rented The Bluebell for a weekend in May 2018, for a family gathering. 23 family members ranging from age 3 to 75.

From my initial enquiry right through to after we had left the property we received first class service from the owner and house keeper.

Fran the house keeper opened up the house for us a few weeks before our stay so I could visit and view the amenities, understand the layout, allocate bed-rooms etc.
