Description of the holiday cottage

The Old Barn is a two bedroom Cornish barn conversion close to Sennen Cove in West Cornwall that sleeps four people, a quality barn conversion with exposed stone walls and plenty of space with the living areas in an open plan design. The property is situated in the grounds of a farmhouse in a rural location and yet is ideal for a base to explore the west of Cornwall. The town of Penzance is easily reached as are a range of beaches including Sennen Cove, a popular surfing beach that has its own surf school as well as a harbour area where you will find several art galleries and quality places to eat. The Old Barn is a sympathetically renovated barn conversion with quality furnishings and fittings throughout, quiet and peaceful and ideal as a base and a holiday home to relax in.

The Old Barn has the main living space on the upper ground floor in an L shaped configuration with wooden flooring and exposed beams above the high lintels throughout. The living area has sofas and a sofa chair facing the flatscreen TV with doors to the outdoor decked area where you will find outdoor furniture and a gorgeous little sun trap. Within the open plan design at The Old Barn, there is a table and chairs that seat four people along with a modern fitted kitchen with a range of appliances including an electric oven and an electric hob, dishwasher, washer dryer and a fridge. The Old Barn near Sennen Cove is fitted with a range of modern conveniences including a flatscreen TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi Internet. The property is also family friendly with a range of extra facilities including a highchair, a booster seat for the chairs, a travel cot as well as baby bath and steriliser.

There are two bedrooms at The Old Barn, both of the bedrooms are on the lower ground floor and include a master bedroom with its own ensuite shower room, both of the bedrooms have zip and link super king-size beds that are configured to your specifications prior to arrival and there is an additional shower room that has a shower, wash hand basin and a WC. A great base in a peaceful location surrounded by rural farmland and perfect for exploring the great range of beaches within an easy driving distance. Cottage Review:   We had a great time at the old barn and the owners could not be more helpful. The barn was close to all the local beaches but far enough away to be quite at night. The kids loved the calves in the fields
