| Cottage Review:
We stayed here for a week at the end of May 2023. As a family of 5, suitable locations can be difficult to find, but this little gem was ideal. There is a little lane at the side of the cottage for parking (narrow, but we fit a Discovery Sport down there), it is a public footpath, so you are warned you may be asked to move the car for access, but we didn?t need to. All rooms and beds are comfortable and the front garden is lovely and fully enclosed, allowing us to relax in the evening sunshine (no back garden, but this is not a problem). The ceilings are low in the original part of the cottage (there have been a couple of extensions to modernise), but to be expected given its age and was no problem for my 6ft tall husband! Only issue was no Wi-Fi, which can be a blessing, but was a bit of a pain when getting our eldest to revise for exams when school post everything online?but we got through it. All in all, this was a lovely little cottage in a great location for visiting south Cornwall. We would definitely go back and highly recommend! |
