| Cottage Review:
Wow, what a beautiful lodge with everything you could need for a self catering holiday. We stayed as a family with a teenager and three young children. Clean throughout and spacious bedrooms with lovely quality mattresses, bedding and towels. Beautiful setting and even though the weather wasn't the best for a few days the lodge is equipped with board games, outdoor bats and shuttlecock, books, puzzles and even has some toys and teddies for younger children. The only critic I have is there is no fence in front of the river and as we'd had alot of rain prior to us arrivi ng it was high but I can imagine in the middle of summer it would be magical. The paddocks in front of the lodge are home to rescued Welsh ponies and one have birth whilst we were there. The owners are happy to chat and tell you about the ponies. We would book again, we had a lovely week |
