| Cottage Review:
Superb location, the Lodge's aspect put you right at the heart of nature and the overall site itself is very well landscaped / designed, with loads of space around the properties. The main windows look out over a stream and woodland area, we would advise buying bird seed and feeding the multitude of visitors (squirrels, jays, nuthatches, etc etc etc!). The Lodge is well-equipped, the only additional items we bought were scissors and pint glasses. The heating took a little getting used to, but was absolutely fine once understood. We?ve just got back from a week at no 6 for Christmas. We?d previously stayed at no 1 and had a lovely week so we booked for Christmas. Check in was fine but we couldn?t get the heating to work so the handyman was sent. He got it working but for the next few days it came on at random times and we were having to get up in the night to turn it off. The handyman came round again with a plumber and the thermostat was changed so we could control it properly. | Cottage Review:
Booked this lodge as it had the hot tub and we weren?t disappointed. Beds lovely and comfy, hot tubs amazing and even the food from the old mill was good! We plan on returning. |
