Cottage Review:
The location is fantastic, a great spot to be able to walk to the harbour and to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The views are also wonderful. There are car parks nearby and you are easily able to stop and unload. The kitchen was lovely, light and bright with all of equipment you need. The lounge was a nice size as were all the rooms and bathrooms. One of the single bedrooms is on the top floor and one is on the bottom which may be of interest if you want the children to be on the same floor. The down sides are little housekeeping things; no full length mirror in the house, broken dustbin in the kitchen so the lid kept falling off, no hand soap provided and no hand towels for the toilet and bathrooms so we had to use the towels provided in our bedrooms. The beds were mainly comfortable but you could feel the springs through in the mattresses. You may want to also take a sleep mask as on the middle floor there is a flashing light from the zebra crossing outside the window and the curtains are not blackout. All in all though, I would recommend. |
