Fountain Cottage in Weymouth is a gorgeous character cottage that is situated in a conservation area and one of the most sought after areas in Weymouth. In the grounds of a former rectory, Fountain Cottage is a Weymouth holiday home that sleeps 2 people with one bedroom, one of those pretty little cottages in a quiet and tucked away location that make it ideal for a romantic getaway. The lovely Wey Valley Walks pass right by the back gate at the old stone bridge across the trout river, and Radipole Lake RSPB bird sanctuary is a few minutes away. In the village, the pretty medieval church is well worth a visit, nestled in a dip next to the manor house. The cottage has its own garden with a barbecue, there is private car parking at the end of the drive and local buses stop in the village for easy access to the town. There you will find the wide sandy beach, shops, pretty harbour, restaurants and the railway station. Alternatively, the walk into town passes along the shore of the big lake, through the attractive memorial gardens and tennis courts and on past the Swannery.Sleeps: 2
