Straight from a childrens' fairy tale Honeybun is a petite thatched chocolate box cottage with roses around the door parts of which date from the 16th Century. The owner who has a flair for furnishings, has tastefully updated this dainty little abode. Nestling in the attractive village of Osmington a peaceful village with stone and thatched cottages, Honeybun is an ideal location for country walks and horse riding. The local coastal point is at Osmington Mills and a short car journey offers visits to the beaches at Lulworth, Ringstead and Weymouth. A short walk up the lane will take you to the Sunray hostelry where you are offered good food and ale. A walk in the other direction will lead you to open countryside where etched into the chalk downland is the famous 'White Horse' with King George III riding back towards London.Best Features
