| Cottage Review:
After driving over 300 miles we were extremely disappointed not to find the usual welcome pack. This time only herbal green tea and a bar of sea salt chocolate. We have been here 3 times before and previously we had a comprehensive welcome pack consisting of cream tea or a cake with decent Cornish smugglers tea. If we had known that the usual welcome pack was no longer provided we could have made our own arrangements for refreshments after a long tiring journey. We waited over 3 hours to be notified that the apartment was ready for our occupation. We waited until 5pm before making our way to the apartment only to then receive an email rather than a text message, saying that the apartment had been ready for us two hours earlier. After three visits here before it seems that previous high standards have been drastically reduced with the change of cleaning/hospitality staff rather than the usual owner no longer completing change over. Certainly poor communication on behalf of the cleaning/hospitality staff. Clients cannot receive emails in rural Cornwall. |
